Two new MOTIE programmes awarded

Two further research programmes funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) have been awarded.

• Knowledge Service Industry Technology Development Programme — AI-BOM Based Reliability Testing for Next-Generation Powertrain Systems (Jongseol Lee, Chief Researcher). VINA FCM is the lead institute.
• K-On-Device AI Semiconductor Technology Development Programme — sub-project 3, Development of On-Device AI Semiconductor-Based AI Algorithms, Intelligence Interconnection Framework, and Software Platforms for AI Operations (Jaejong Song, Principal Researcher). Gamba Labs leads sub-project 3, working with LG Electronics as the overall lead institute.

Across both programmes the center takes on AI-BOM based verification that an AI service behaves safely, and a platform that provides an inference environment across a range of on-device SoCs.
